go back to where you started from

.

Don’t give up
“ELISHA PASSED TO SHUNEM  WHERE WAS A GREAT WOMAN. 2 KINKS 4:8
The Bible speaks of a “great women” who lived in Shunem. God gave her a son when she couldn’t have one. Then suddenly in twenties he dies. So she picks up, put him on a horse and carries him back to Elisha, whom God had used to announce his birth in the first place.
Imagine what her neighbors must have though as she passed by.” Its’ over, bury him!” But not her. She refuses to stop and get the opinions, of faithless people, or discuses her situation with those who were unqualified to help. Be careful who you open up to in a crisis! Make sure they know God and that their words line up with His. The warranty hasn’t expired on the promises God gave you.
This woman believed that if God started it, He could finish it. If He made it, He could fix it.
And how does her story end? Elisha stretches his body out on top of the dead boy’ body and his corpse get warm. Now that’s good, but this lad needs more than just warmth he needs new to life. What’s the lesson here for you? No matter how bad things look stay on top of the situation! Keep believing God. Walk the floor and pray all night if you have to, but don’t give up. Keep standing on the word. Your dream may not be fully alive yet, but it’s getting warm. Thing are improving. God is moving. Your answer is on the way don’t give up until it arrives!

Having what it takes to succeed
“THE LORD GAVE HIM SUCCESS IN EVERYTHING HE DID.” GENESIS 39:3NIV
To succeed at anything, the four things you must have:
            1. Morals: What are you willing to do in other to get where you’re trying to go? You can’t get there just any kind of way; you must have boundaries. Now all of us have broken the rules at some times. But thank God we have rules to break! We were able to realign ourselves because somebody had pitched a tent on where ‘right’ is. (2) Method s: You methods are your road map. A goal without a plane is like a road to nowhere. First the goal, then the plan, and then the process. Adopting this simple three- step formula helps you understanding that you won’t just leap into the middle of dream, or get there overnight. There are methods that must be employed and stayed with! (3) Means: When God gives you a vision, look for His provision. If you can’t find it, either your timing is off, or what you want differs form what God want fro you. God’s provision may come as an idea that hit you suddenly, or a though that takes root and grows in your over time. Certainly, God’s provision will always involve the help of others, so walk in love wherever you go. (4)Management: Jesus said, ‘To whom much is given, of him shall much be require” (LK12:48 AMP). Some think it’s ‘over’ when God gives it to you. No, it’s just beginning! And guess what your biggest management challenge will be? Yourself! That’s why the Psalmis,” Order my steps in thy words” (Ps 119:33).

the part to the throne

Anytime God describes someone as a man after his own heart, ‘study them very well and carefully. A clear example is the life of David.
He had a humble beginning but a great finish. David began as a shepherd and ended up as a king. The chances of that happening were slim to none. In those days shepherds were so low in the totem pole that they couldn’t testify in a law court, their words wasn’t considered reliable. Yet David ended up writing the mostly read and loved psalms of all time.
When you invite God into your life He cancels the liability of your past and re-writes your future. But you must choose what he has chosen for you. There’s an interesting contrast between Paul and David. Paul sowed his wild oats before he met Christ, then went on to live an exemplary life. David became king at 30 : yet during his forty years in leadership, he experienced devastating failures. There are two lessons to be learned from these.
  1. Don’t rush to judgment. It is not over until God says it is over. David’s story is a clear warning to the transgressor, a rebuke to the self-righteous, a testimony to the justice of God that won’t allow us to escape our consequences, and to his love that will never let go of us.
  2.  God can bring good out of it. He can take every experience you’ve been through, both positive and negative, and make it work for good, either your good or the good of others. When you seek to fulfill God’s purpose in spite of your flaws, He makes all things work together for good. Romans 8:28

WHO TAKES THE CREDIT?
David was anointed to be king his teens but he only ascended the throne at thirty. Just check this out
  1. God calls the man. In spite of being un appreciated by his family, and over looked by the prophet Samuel, God picked David. He also picked Deborah to lead the nation in a male dominated society. Stop trying to figure God out, and stop comparing yourself to others!
  2. God decides the plan. Being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will complete it. Phil 1:6.   David never thought it will take him ducking the spears of Saul the king, living in caves and working with 600 misfits who redefine the word dysfunctional. God trains you in a small sphere so you can handle bigger ones.
  3. God knows the span of time required. So the part to the throne takes patience, perseverance, commitment, plan work, endurance, until Potiphar and his wife knelt before Joseph.

go back to your source

the bible speaks of a great woman who lived in Shunem. God gave her a son when she couldn't have one. then suddenly he dies in his twenties.so she picked him up and carried him to Elisha the man of God, whom God used to announce the birth of the young boy in the first place. imagined what her neighbors would have been saying she passed by going to the man of God. probably things like it is all over, don't bother going to the man of God. but she refused to listen to faithless and un qualified persons, she until i get to my destination, right to my very source, just a touch of his word, garment will bring about a change.
how does her story end? to be certain just get a copy of the bible and read the books of first and second kings and rest is history.
